Baby Laynee

Congratulations to the Martin's
I was lucky enough to get to take pictures of Laynee when she was 2 weeks old.  I'm still learning, but it was fun testing out my lens and playing with the baby.  I also had a lot of fun making the baby announcement for them.  I love using my photoshop.

Time with Dad

McKenzie loves to do crafts and loves hanging out with her Dad.  Ryan and McKenzie both love to build things, so they have started a collection of paper projects.  They have built a baseball field, log cabin, a castle and the latest a butterfly house.  Its been a fun project on the days when it's too cold to go outside.

More Snow!

The girls were so excited when they woke up Saturday morning to more snow.  We had to run some errands and while we were out we found these goggle for the kids.  We really got them for 4 wheeling, but they wanted to test them out.  When we got home we bundled them up and out they went.  It was still really cold, but they didn't seem to mind.   Once the girls were finished trying to shuffle the driveway Ryan went out and helped them, then they all came in for some much needed hot chocolate.

I love this picture, because Brooklyn doesn't look like she is very happy to be all bundled up.  Really she is just not happy that I want to take a picture of her.

It Snowed!

McKenzie was so excited that it had snowed that she didn't even care that it felt like -15 outside.  As soon as they got home from school she headed straight for the snow to do snow angels.  Their wasn't much snow, but enough that she could play in it.  Brooklyn and I watched from the window for a little bit, then Brooklyn decided she wanted to join her.  They only lasted about a 1/2 hour outside, but they had fun.  After they were done they headed inside for some hot chocolate.

McKenzie just running around making trails.  She loves being outside regardless of the temperature.

Saying Goodbye

The missionaries spent a lot of time at our house over the holidays, so when whe found out that Elder Wilkes was getting transfered it made the girls and us pretty sad.  After church they came by our house to hang out for a little bit and take pictures.  I love having the missionaries in our home, they bring a great spirit.

Enjoying The Nice Weather

The weather has been so weird this year.  I can't believe that we our outside in just jackets playing in the yard.  Ryan took the girls over to his job and they ended up coming home with cement scraps and stack.  Gotta love Ryan's job.  McKenzie likes to roll the cement down the driveway and chase after it.  Whatever makes her happy.  Brooklyn rode her bike for a little bit then decided to enjoy the sun while playing on Ryan's ipod.  The ipod is the new favorite thing in our house.

McKenzie and her cement.

We didn't think McKenzie would be riding her scooter from Christmas until spring.
