I'm going to be a mommy when I grow up.

The other day McKenzie and Brooklyn were playing Mommy with their dolls. I love to listen to them and see how they take care of their babies. They are both going to be great mom when they grow up. I just had to take a picture of McKenzie as she feed her baby. I heard her say to Brooklyn " Now you have to cover yourself when you feed your baby." I was thinking oh great what is she up to now, but she was just feeding her baby a bottle with the blanket covering both of them. Kids gotta love em!

Girls Weekend

My friend Brooke and I headed off to Missoula for the weekend. Missoula is about 3 1/2 hours away, so we had lots of time for girl talk. Brooke grew up in Missoula so it was fun to go and see where she was from. Missoula has tons more shopping and restaurants, so I was very excited. The Husbands were great and watched the kids for us. Ryan said he had a great time with the girls and the girls always like a little daddy time. Brooke and I had tons of fun, eating, shopping, going to the movie's, getting our nails done and did I mention eating and shopping. It was so nice to go shopping with no kids I could just wonder around the store as long as I wanted with out someone telling me it was time to go or this is not a fun store. The food was great and so was all the chocolate. Brooke and I both LOVE chocolate, so we made sure we got plenty of it. All in all we had a great time. Thanks Brooke for a great girls weekend.
This is the view from our hotel window. It was a little cloudy that morning, but it turned out to be a beautiful warm day.

Shop tell you drop! Our motto for the weekend.
This is what we found when we meet up with the Dad's and the kids. They were in the back corner of the restaurant having a great time together. After some fun at the park they took the kids to eat. Ryan text me to see if we were close and we were about 20 minutes away, so we meet up with them. The kids looked great and everything went great for the Dad's. Thanks guys!

A Beatiful Day in Montana

The last few weeks have been beautiful. Yes it is snowing today, but we enjoyed the sunshine while we could. A few weeks ago after being stuck in the house with colds we decided to take the girls for a drive down the river. We headed about 30 miles out of town toward Cascade. We followed the river until we ended up at Holter Lake. The drive was beautiful. Half way we found a picnic and fishing area where we stopped to run around and have lunch. The girls were in heaven. It was so peaceful just watching the river, geese and fisherman floating down the river. Holter Lake was still frozen and there were a few guys ice fishing. Ryan took the girls out on the lake to show them that they could walk on it. They thought that was pretty cool. It just made me nervous. We had a great day getting out and exploring. I love having the mountains and river so close to were we live.
McKenzie loves to be outside, so she was so excited to be out and running around.
There were fisherman everywhere. Ryan was going crazy. He was wanting to be on the river with them.

Ryan wanted to show the girls that they could walk on the lake when it was frozen. They were a little nervous at first, but thought it was pretty cool. I was nervous the whole time.

A Party for Princesses

For McKenzie's 5th birthday she had a few friends over for a princess party. I didn't plan a lot of activities, because I wanted it to be pretty relaxed. We first went on a treasure hunt to find princess tiara's for all the girls, then we made bracelets. The girls loved making the bracelets. We then decorated cupcakes and sang to McKenzie. After everyone was finished eating the girls wanted to dance to the princess music playing. They even got Ryan to dance with them. We then opened presents. McKenzie loved everything she got and said it was the best day ever. Later we took her to dinner at MacKenzie River Pizza Company and then came back home for presents from Mom and Dad and from the Grandparents. She was so funny I had set up everything while they were getting in the car, so when she came in the house after dinner she was just beaming. She was so excited with her new bike and presents. It was a fun day.

One of the guys from Ryan's work found out that he had two little girls and brought these to the job for him to give to the girls. I think they are the cutest hats I have ever seen.
