This year we decided to take the long trek to Utah for Thanksgiving and spend some time with the families.
The weather was terrible and very scary. We decided we would bring the trailer and 4 wheelers along and leave them at our house, so that when we moved in a few months we wouldn't have to worry about them. Bringing along a full load made it quit and adventure. It took us over 11 hours to get to Utah and it snowed about 9 of those hours. We found out that soon after our arrival to Utah I-15 was closed. I was so grateful that we made it safe and sound. We decided to stay at Ryan's parents so that we would be closer to the parents and be able to spend more time with the families. It was my families year to have Thanksgiving this year so we enjoyed a great dinner out at Mike and Natalie's with the whole gang. Lur was flying out to Texas Thanksgiving day to be with Allie, Bryan and new baby Crew, so we had a great Thanksgiving dinner with the Cook family the Sunday before Thanksgiving. While in Utah we were able to do a few things around the house, stay up all night and shop (we love black friday) and celebrate Tyce's 4th birthday. We had tons of fun with the families.
This is what most of the drive looked like. This picture was take on the long stretch in Idaho.
McKenzie just hanging out and coloring. I'm so glad she loves to color. She was such a great sport for being cramped in the back seat of Ryan's truck.
Brooklyn loves watching cartoons and movies, so we were very grateful for the DVD player to keep her happy.
While in Utah it snowed a lot, so the girls enjoyed playing in it all week.
Ryan thought it would be fun to have the girls stand with their back to him as he went by with the snow blower. The girls just giggled the whole time, while he plastered them with snow.
Thanksgiving day with the Hansen Family. We had a great dinner and then after we enjoyed watching each other dance to just dance 2 on the wii. So much fun.

Oh Lainee! This is another little girl I could just eat up. She is so cute and so funny.
Ryan, Katie, Matt and I decided to take on Black Friday this year. I have gone shopping on Black Friday before, but never stayed up all night. We started at 11pm Thursday night and ended at 8:30am Friday morning. I felt the effects for days. We found some great deals and had alot of laughs that night.
Here is a cute video clip put together by Katie Oborn. Thanks Katie
Tyce's Birthday at Chucky Cheese.
We had tons of fun, but Tyce was not feeling so good and ended up falling asleep on Grandpa while we played games. We will have to go again when he is feeling better.
