Last weekend we took off for the mountains. We took to girls up to Wolf Creek for a little weekend getaway. This trip was much needed. This summer went by so fast and was so crazy with all the family trips that we wanted to just go with our girls and getaway. The girls loved it. McKenzie is so funny she thinks that our vacation home is a new home, she runs around the whole place saying, "Look we have new beds", and " Look we have a new bathroom", and so on until she covers the whole house. The girls had a blast running from room to room, jumping on the beds and looking at the mountains and trees from the deck. The first night up there we took the for a walk and ended up looking for golf balls around the golf course, they thought that was pretty fun. The next morning we got up and played tennis and went for a walk then we decided to take a drive up to Powder Mountain to check out the ski resort. The girls loved to look out the window and tell us what color the leaves were on the trees. Yes all the leaves were changing up there. It was beautiful. We would have taken pictures when we got to the top, but the girls were asleep. We then went over to Pineview for lunch and some fun in the sun. Ryan took a nap and the girls and I played in the water. Later that night we went for another walk and found more golf balls and then went and hung out in the Rec. Center. The had a fun playroom for the girls and Ryan and I played Pool. We had a nice relaxing weekend with the girls.
