McKenzie's a big girl now!

McKenzie started Preschool!

This week was a fun week for McKenzie, she started Preschool. She has been so excited for months now to start school. She was so excited to go and meet her new teacher Mrs. Dansie and all her new friends. The first day I went with her to meet her teacher and get familiar with her classroom. She had no troubles walking right in and playing with all the kids and toys. I think I was more nervous then she was. Her second day she went by herself. When we pulled up to her school she said " Mom today I get to go by myself okay." Little miss independent. Brooklyn and I walked her and said goodbye. Brooklyn was not very happy about that. She started crying and cried all the way to the car saying, " I need my Kenzie." I think Brooklyn is going to have a hard time letting her big sister go. The are like two little peas in a pod. They do everything together. This will be there first experience splitting up. Im exicted to have some one on one with Brooklyn for the two hours two days a week.

McKenzie after her first day by herself. She had tons of fun. She was so cute when I went to pick her up she had a huge smile on her face and said, " School is fun mom." As we were walking out she was telling me, " We played volleyball, sang songs, had a cookie and I made a new friend." She was so excited that she made a new friend. It was so fun picking her up and hearing about everything she did and most import that she had fun. McKenzie is growing up fast I can't believe we have one in school. Time sure does fly.
