Fun with Macie!

Yesterday I went over to my sister's house and took pictures of her cute little baby Macie. I got a new camera for christmas and have been taking some classes, so I wanted to test out the camera. Macie was a good sport and slept most of the time. We thought we would do the naked (diaper) pictures first and then put on her clothes. She was fine until we put on her clothes then she was awake and not wanting to play anymore, so we are going to try pictures with clothes on another day. I had tons of fun and learned alot about what modes on my camera work the best. Thanks Katie and Macie for a fun afternoon.
These are a few of my favorites. Isn't she a cutie!

Good Luck to Allie and Bryan!

Allie and Bryan are moving to Texas tomorrow, so last night was a sad/happy night. We are so excited for their new adventure, but also very sad that we will not be able to see them very often. McKenzie and Brooklyn love them so much and will truely miss them. Last night they didn't want to go home, they just wanted to keep giving them hugs. I didn't think that they would have such a hard time, expecially McKenzie. Once we got driving home she kept saying that she was really sad and was going to miss Allie and Bryan. I looked back to talk to her and her eyes were all red and little tears were forming. It showed me that even the little kids have emotions and that things like this do effect them. We wish you guys the best and hope to hear from you soon. Enjoy the warm weather. We love you guys!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Christmas Eve!
Ryan the girls and I make sugar cookies for Santa earlier in the day and then headed to Ryan's parents for dinner and to exchange gifts with the family. When we got home from Ryan's parents we let the girls open up their Christmas Eve Present (Christmas PJ's), we then read them a few Navtity books and talked about the birth of Jesus. The girls were so excited for Santa to come, they sprinkled reindeer food out front and set out a plate of cookies and milk for Santa. We then watch the Polar Express. I thought the girls were never going to fall asleep, but they did about 10:30pm. Ryan and I then began wrapping all the presents, which took forever. I think we will do things alittle different next year.

The Girls very excited for Santa to come.
Christmas Morning. Ryan and I woke up around 6:00am just waiting for the girls to wake up, Brooklyn came in about 7:00 and by 7:30 we had her go and tell McKenzie that Santa came. I took McKenzie a few minutes register what was going on, but she soon was running out to the tree. This year was so much fun, because the kids understood more of what was going on. The girls got some fun stuff from Santa. They both got American Girls Bitty Baby Twins, which I was very excited about. McKenzie loved her new car rug and Brooklyn was very excited about her new Pet Shops. Later in the Day we went to both parents and got some fun stuff and we also were about to talk with my brother Kevin who is serving a mission in California.

Hansen Family Christmas Party!

The Hansen Family PJ Christmas Party!
This year we had it at Jason and Cassie's house. The dress code was PJ's and to be creative. I think that Jason and Cassie win the the award for their PJ's. Jason and Mike made a Dutch Oven Breakfast, which was great. I made cinnamon and orange rolls and we also had fruit and juice. I love breakfast for dinner, so it was all great. We ate dinner while watching Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, which is one of our kids favorite. Cassie then read the kids Twas the night before Christmas, then we exchanged presents with everyone. We had tons of fun hanging out in our PJ's with the family. Thanks Jason and Cassie for a fun time.
Love you all!

Cook Family Christmas Party!

The Cook Family Christmas Party!
This year Ryan's parents were in charge of the party, Grammy Lur had lots of fun games for the kids and the church looked great. We had a great dinner with everyone and then the kids played games while the adults talked and caught up with each other. The kids loved the games, they got pictures with Santa, played bingo, frosted cookies, played go fish and pin the nose on reindeer. Lur also brought fake snow ball for the kids to have a snow ball fight, but I think the adults had just as much fun. This year each family was in charge of presenting a song together, ours was the 12 days of christmas. I think that everyone was pretty creative in what they presented. We played our traditional right/left game and ended with presents. This year Grandma Cook gave all the great grandkids these really cute buckets with lids. They had lots of fun goodies inside for them. My girls love them, they keep all of their crayons and coloring books inside.
Thanks Cook Family for a fun Christmas Party!
Love you all!

It was alittle bit harder playing the right/left game with all the little kids this year. Amanda was a good sport and helped them out.Yep we are still playing the right/left game, and some of the adults were throwing the snow balls around.
