For Safety week at preschool we took the kids to the fire station to meet the firemen and to learn about how to stay safe. The kids were so excited. We just have a little group, so they were able to see a lot of different things. The girls thought it was really cool.

Here they are taking Emma's heart rate to see if she is healthy. Yep she's good.

All the girls got to sit in the back of the fire truck and see all of the equipment the firemen wear and use.

Emma was very excited to try everything.

McKenzie was so excited when they picked her to sit in the drivers seat and she even learned how to turn on the lights.

Here McKenzie is learning about the fireman camera. It helps them to see warm bodies in a smoke filled house.

One of the fireman tried on his gear for the kids. They have to put everything on in under a minute. The kids were a little scared at first, but he got down and talked to the kids about how he is here to help them and if they are in danger not to be scared when they see them in their fireman gear.

Our cute little friends. Emma, Rosie, Kaylee, Brooklyn and McKenzie.

Aspen did the same field trip, but Mike took her, so I wasn't there to take pictures! Looks like fun!
