Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween ! For Halloween this year we went to the Ward Carnival at the church. They had stations set up all over the gym and the last half hour the kids could trick or treat around to all the class rooms. The kids were so excited to finally get to wear their costumes and they loved all the sugar and games at the carnival.
Brooklyn really wanted to be a Monkey this year, so we were very excited to find one at Old Navy.
McKenzie wanted to be Sleeping Beauty, but when she saw the lion costume she wanted to be Alex the Lion from Madagascar.
The girls playing games at the carnival.
The famous cupcake walk.
Brooklyn didn't waste anytime digging into her cupcake.
McKenzie decorating her pumpkin popcorn ball.
Brooklyn decorating her pumpkin popcorn ball.
Brooklyn wouldn't play this game. McKenzie did awesome she ate most of it with out her hands.

The kids diving in after the pinata broke open. Yes that is McKenzie laying on the floor stuffing all the candy under her body. I had to pry her off the floor. Candy will do crazy things to kids.We decorated one of the doors the kids could trick or treat at. We decided as part of our door we would bring all of Ryan's pumpkins he carved. He carved a witch, a few pumpkin faces, trick or treat, tiger, and buster.
The girls checking out what they got.
McKenzie fell asleep on the couch with her cute lion face still on. What a cutie.
Halloween day it was really windy, so we took the kids over to the mall to trick or treat.

Look at our cute little girls. They are both not happy about this picture because the wind was blowing really had and they didn't want to take pictures.
The girls and I waiting in line at the Mall. It was a long line we had to wait in, but they said they had fun.
The girls were so excited when they saw Tiger and Pooh. They just had to get a picture by them.
The sorting of the candy. I remember sorting out all my candy when I was a kid. I think this is the best part of all, when you get to see every thing you got.

The girls look so cute! You got some cute pictures of them in their costumes! They did get a lot of candy. My kids didn't get that much, but that's a good thing cause I would just eat it all!
