Christmas Stroll and Light Parade

Every year Great Falls has their annual Christmas Stroll and Light Parade. They shut down Central Avenue ( which has all the old fun stores on it) and everyone strolls up and down enjoying shopping, singing, hot chocolate and goodies. The city sets up a huge Christmas tree at the end of the street and at the end of the parade Santa comes and everyone counts down to light the tree and all the lights through out the city. It was pretty old that night and windy, but we managed to make it to the end. The girls both loved it. McKenzie didn't complain at all about the cold, Brooklyn started crying at the end, so I was very glad that it was time to go home. For the most part we had a great time.
We stopped to take a few pictures of the river on our way to the parade. This is a picture of Black Eagle Falls, as you can see the river is beginning to frost over. It looks so cool.

All of these geese were just chilling on the ice. And yes it is snowing when this picture was taken.
The girls insisted on taking their stuffed animals with them, so I made them take care of them the whole time. They did a great job holding them tight and not loosing them.
McKenzie enjoying a free ride from daddy.
This is everyone strolling down Central Avenue trying to stay warm.
Me and Brooklyn trying to bundle up and stay warm. When the wind picked up it got really cold and Brooklyn was not happy about it.
Our Cute little family.

This was one of the parade floats. Don't you just love the old tow truck.
Santa finally came before we froze to death.
The light were finally turned on and we could head home for some hot chocolate and a warm blanket.
