Ward Christmas Party

Last Friday was our Ward Christmas Party. The theme was Christmas Stories. They had the whole gym set up with story books and at the end each child got to take home one story book from the tables. We had a wonderful dinner. I made my raspberry pretzel jello and a chocolate sheet cake. After dinner the read stories to all the kids they had one room set up like the Polar Express and another like the stable where Jesus was born. The kids loved it. At the end all the kids sang jingle bells and Santa came. McKenzie was so excited. Brooklyn was not quite sure what she thought, but McKenzie held her and and set on Santa's lap with her. Brooklyn quietly told Santa what she wanted and McKenzie was so funny she listed off everything she put on her list along with some surprises that he could pick for her. Our little McKenzie is so funny.

Before we left for the party I couldn't resist taking pictures of our girls. They are growing up so fast.

The girls with their friend Rosie waiting for the Polar Express story to start.

All the kids listening to the story of the First Christmas.
The kids singing jingle bells.
Look how excited McKenzie is. The girls are at a really fun age this year.
