A Day at the Park!

Saturday was a beautiful day, so after naps we took the girls to the park to feed the ducks and play. The girls were so excited to feed the ducks, but I think that everyone else had the same idea because not one duck would come up to the fence and get some bread. The seaguls did come and eat some, but the girls were sad that the ducks wouldn't eat their bread. We decided to go play instead. The girls had a blast on the slides and even tried out some of the big kid toys with the help of dad. I love days like this when we just go outside and hang out with the kids. I love that Spring is coming.
Ryan and McKenzie trying to talk the ducks over to the fence. I didn't work very well.
Brooklyn watching the ducks take a bath.
Brooklyn has no fear and loves to play on the slides.
Isn't McKenzie looking big these days. I can't beleive how fast they are growing up.
Ryan helping the girls be big.
I love this picture.
I was walking over to the waterfall to test out my camera and I found a little sign of spring popping up. I love it when all the spring flowers start come up and bring us some color.
I had a photography class earlier that morning and we learned about all the cool things you can do when you manually change your shutter speed. You can either freeze motion or blur it, so I decided to test things out with the little waterfall at the park.
This is freezing the motion of the object by changing my making my shutter speed faster.
This is blurred by making my shutter speed really slow. Pretty cool! By just changing the shutter speed you can create two different types of pictures. I love photography and can't wait to learn more things about it.

Soccer Season Is Here!

Soccer Season is finally here. My family looks forward to this every spring. This will be the last year that we will have someone on the Davis High Soccer Team. My brother Philip is the youngest and is a senior this year, so this is the end of High School for my family.
Davis played Hilcrest and won 3 to 1. What a great start for the season.
Here's Philip in action. Go Davis!

Do you think McKenzie loves her Uncle Dino.
Cute Lainee showing off her walking skills on the bumpy grass.
Easton was such a great help at the park watching all the girls for us.
Brooklyn looks like she has been captured.
There's that little smile we all love.
McKenzie is getting so big. She loves climbing on everything, even the really tall stuff that makes my stomach sick. I have a hard time watching them climb on all the toys, expecially the really high ones. Ryan's gets so mad at me and is usually telling me to chill out.

A Special Day!

Katie and Jake blessed Macie on Sunday. She was such a good girl. She didn't even make a peep while Jake blessed her. She was also very good for all the pictures we took. She is getting cuter everyday. She is also starting to smile more and more and every once and a while she will give you a little laugh. We love you Macie Lynn Bell.
What a Cutie!
Katie picked out a beautiful blessing dress for Macie.
The proud parents with their little girl.
This is what it is like to try and get my family to take a family picture. I just love trying to get everyone to stand still and smile for a few minutes.
The end result!
Happy Birthday Dino!
Later that night we meet back at my parents house to celebrate Dino's Birthday.
While we were all just hanging out we heard the chair in the kitchen scooting across the floor then we heard a little voice say "Mmmmm Cake". George is so cute. When I would ask him where the cake was he would look at it with a big smile on his face and say "Mmmmm Cake". George loves cake and we love George.
Caught in the act!
Dino very excited to be the center of attention. We love you Dino!

Spring is near!

A Sunny Saturday Afternoon!
I took the girls out on Saturday to get some much needed fresh air. It was a little chilly, but they had fun riding their bikes. Brooklyn is so funny when she gets on her bike, because she sings at the top of her lungs as she is riding. She is such a silly one. McKenzie noticed today that our tulips had started to come up. She was so excited she said "Look mom our flowers are coming up winter is over." When we planted the flowers in the fall I told her that they would come up when winter was over and the snow was all gone. I wish winter was over, but it snowed last night and it is going to again tomorrow. Yeah for snow! I do love our mountains covered in snow, but I'm ready for warmer weather.
Brooklyn singing as loud as she can for all to hear.
McKenzie very excited to be outside.
Our Tulips popping through.
McKenzie pointing out the pink ones, at least that is what she thinks.
Our cute girls!
Do you think they like each other. I love that they always have each other to play with, and for the most part love playing with each other.
