We bought some 4 wheelers in the spring, but because of the wet weather didn't really go riding until the summer. We did take the kids on the outside of Great Falls and road them on some of the dirt roads, but it was cold and started to rain. In June we went up to Kings Peak with Brooke and Charlie and had a blast. We road almost all day. It was beautiful riding on top of all the peaks and going through the trees to end up in beautiful flower covered meadows. The girls loved picking flowers every time we stopped for a break. We have had several fun 4 wheeling trips this summer and hope to get in a few more, before winter.
Ryan and the girls ready to take off on our first 4 wheeling adventure.
We are ready dad! Don't you just love those big helmets on their little heads.
Our adventures at Kings Peak.
The girls picking flowers. They would then put them in the storage container on the 4 wheelers. We forgot that they had done that and the next time we went 4 wheeling we found the dead stinky flowers. We make sure we wash out all the containers now.
Mom making sure everyone gets their helmets buckled
Kenz just hangin out.
When we got up on top of this peak we found a huge pile of snow that had not melted yet. The boys had a fun doing donuts and getting stuck. The girls just watched and laughed. The scenery was beautiful we could see from peak to peak.
The girls picking more flowers
Brooke and the girls making snowballs to throw at the boys.
Charlie helping Ryan get his 4 wheeler out. Ryan forgot to put in 4 wheel drive before he started goofing off in the snow.
Boys will be boys.
Ryan trying to spray snow all over the girls. Charlie ended up getting him back for us.
Everyone relaxing after a long day of riding.
This is a little hide out cabin we found on one of the trails.
This was one of my favorite spots we went to. It was beautiful. We had to go through some scary spots to get their, but we managed to get through it. I had never been on trails like that,so for me it was a scary, the guys thought it was great.
