We were supposed to be moving home the weekend of July 24th, but instead we just went home to visit. We had decided to stay in Montana until Ryan finished the hotel. Going 5 months without Ryan was just too long. We were planning on leaving on the the 23rd but left on the 22nd instead, which was fun because we were able to surprise everyone. We first went over to my parents and then to Ryan's and had the girls knock on the door and surprise the grandma's. They were both very excited to see that we had arrived. Ryan was only able to stay through the weekend, so we tried to get in as much as we could. Friday morning we spent weeding our lovely weeds and then surprised the family's and then headed off to Cherry Hill, we were lucky to have Tyce and Kevin join us. It was really hot, but we had fun swimming and going down the water slides. Saturday was the 24th, so we spent the afternoon and evening with Ryan's family having a BBQ and doing Fireworks. We brought some fireworks down from Montana and lit up the Utah sky with them. It was fun seeing the family. Two babies were born while we have been in Montana, so it was fun to play with both of them. The girls just love playing with Tate and Penny. Sunday we went to church, which was fun to see some of the friend and then to dinner at my parents. It was a pretty busy weekend. Monday morning we headed to the airport to drop off Ryan and then I spent the next two weeks playing, visiting and going to doctor appointments. I didn't want to find new doctors in Montana, so when we came to visit I had the girls yearly appointments. Both girls got 5 shots each and McKenzie had her blood and urine tested. Every one was looking great. We had a crazy two weeks, but it was fun. Before we knew it Ryan was flying back to pick us up and drive back to Montana. On our way back we decided to stop in Idaho Falls and see the falls and temple. I didn't know the falls were so big and beautiful. I'm so glad we decided to stop and check them out. Before we know it the two weeks was over and we were back home in Montana. Time always flies when you are having fun.
The Girls and Tyce at Cherry Hill
The Girls and Tyce on the 24th enjoying some jello after swimming in the hot sun. It was so hot the whole time we were in Utah. I couldn't even buy candy bars and get them home without them melting.
Brooklyn lovin on Tate.
Tate hanging out with Uncle Ryan. It was so fun to see him and play with him. He has grown up so fast and is so cute.
Me and Tate. I was lucky enough to babysit him a few times. I can't wait to see this little guys again.
The family enjoying the good Montana fireworks. I think the neighbors like them too.
Ryan sacrificing his body for a good show.
These were all the fun fireworks we brought back to Utah with us.
The girls helping feed Tate when we babysat him. It was fun seeing the girls play mom. They are such big girls and big helpers
Two days after Ryan flew home to Montana, Brooklyn decided to fall on the vent in our hallway and split her head open. I of course was in a panic and called Natalie to come assess the damage. Natalie ended up taking McKenzie to her house and I took Brooklyn to the doctor. My mom was nice and meet us over there for support. We were just at the doctors the day before, so the nurse already know who we were. When we arrived and they first looked at it they wanted to staple it, not what I was wanting. Brooklyn was freaking out, so the doctor decided to just glue it instead. I was very happy with that decision. A little glue and $300 later she fixed.
Uncle Dino has started roping, so we decided to check out what he had been up to.
The girls watching the guys. McKenzie was in heaven, she loves horses.
Aunt Katie was kind enough to get us Discovery gateway tickets, so we took Natalie, Easton, Aspen, Lainee and Grandma with us for some fun. We had a great day exploring and playing.
The girls had to dress up like construction workers so they could be like dad.
We took the kids to one of the classes. It was about dinosaurs that day. They loved it.
It rained a few days we were there, but didn't make the temperature any cooler. One of the days this huge rainbow was in front of our house. We just had to take a picture.
Our stop at Idaho Falls on the way home.
